Josh Radnor probably needs no introduction but you’re going to get  one anyway: he wrote and directed the Sundance Audience Award-winning Happythankyoumoreplease and played Ted Mosby on How I Met Your Mother for nine  years. He also wrote, directed and starred in the film Liberal Arts, starred in the PBS Civil War Drama Mercy Street and has interspersed all of that with regular stints on Broadway.

It’s also worth mentioning that Radnor is an impassioned meditator and the reason that’s worth mentioning is this: although he had no problem coming up with some petty issues to discuss, he also has an ability to “breathe through them” (he never said this, he might even have an issue with people who say this) but the point is that he knows how to observe when he’s being triggered and move past it.

Among the issues of his we discussed are: people who say “You look tired,” people who text “Hey, stranger” or “Hey, you,” people who call you by your last name and drivers who don’t give a friendly “thank you” wave when you’ve let them go in front of you. But what could this all have to do with his experiences switching to a public high school and having an older sister? All is revealed in the episode.
